Sarah Hyland Ends Abusive Relationship After 5 Years

After 5 years together, Sarah Hyland and boyfriend Matt Prokop split for good, but not before Hyland revealed to the world the abusive relationship she had been in the past years. From the outside, this duo seemed like a picture perfect couple, but we later learned that they were the complete opposite. 

The couple first met during their auditions for High School Musical 3: Senior Year in 2008 and the starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Geek Charming together. They began their relationship shortly after that. In 2012, Hyland underwent a kidney transplant as a result of her lifelong battle with kidney dysplasia and she repeatedly told reporters that Prokop stood by her side through all of it. He helped her with medication and taking her to doctors appointments. 

From there, things got quite ugly. Sarah Hyland filed for a temporary restraining order against Matt Prokop. The document states that he choked her, pushed her and even threatened her. It claims that he terrorized her both verbally and physically during the last 4 years of their relationship. Evidence of the abuse was found in a report of an argument the couple had about one of Hyland’s outfits where Prokop proceeded to pin Hyland against a car and choke her, calling her names as well.

Other allegations include Matt threatening to set one of Sarah’s homes on fire and also suggesting to her that she would never see her dog again. Hyland’s Modern Family costar Julie Bowen apparently stepped in to help Sarah end the relationship peacefully. Unfortunately, when Prokop saw Julie Bowen arrive, he freaked out, began running outside into the backyard screaming, and then threw a lighter at Sarah Hyland. Bowen then to Sarah to get out of the house, because she wasn’t safe around Matt. Sarah tried to end the relationship many times, but Prokop would always threaten her, saying he would burn her house down, kill her dog or even commit suicide himself. Finally, Hyland was able to end the relationship and soon after, Prokop entered a rehabilitation facility but he is said to already be out of treatment. 

At word of this, the director of the facility contacted Sarah Hyland and her family telling them that it would be in their best interest to get a temporary restraining order against him due to his current mental state and attitude towards the actress. The restraining order that Sarah Hyland took out states that Matthew Prokop is to stay at least 100 yards away from Sarah and her dog at all times.

Hollywood Welcomes Yet Another Baby

Again with more baby news! That 70’s Show costars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis welcomed baby girl Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher into the world on September 30, 2014.  To announce the birth of their daughter, the couple posted a series of pictures on Instagram, some of babies and others of puppies or llamas saying “Can you guess which one is ours, or does it matter because all babies are cute.”

The couple met back in 1998 when they starred in the hit sitcom show That 70’s Show together. Their characters on the show dated, and Kunis even admitted that Ashton on the show was her first real kiss. Kutcher began dating actress Demi Moore in 2003 and they got married on September 24, 2005. In 2011, Demi Moore announced her intention to end the marriage and after a year of separation, Ashton filed for divorce from Demi on December 21, 2012. Shortly after ending his relationship with Demi Moore, in April of 2012, Ashton began dating Mila Kunis.

The couple dated for 2 years before Kutcher proposed in February of 2014. They later announced news of their pregnancy and Kunis gave birth to baby Wyatt. News of a wedding have not been announced though it is known that it will happen. Kunis opened up for the first time about her pregnancy and her engagement to Ashton on the Ellen Degeneres Show after months of silence and wonder.

On the show, she shared how she was going to give birth to Wyatt through the natural birthing process and the couple looked into giving birth in their home. Kunis shared that they watched documentaries and looked into the midwife as well as talked to her OB/GYN before deciding that being born in a hospital was what was best for their child. Wyatt Isabelle was then born on the 30th in Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, California. 

After the birth of the child, Kutcher took to Instagram, Twitter as well as Facebook to share the news of his daughters birth. On all three he posted the series of pictures asking people to guess which one was their daughter, something that took many celebrity blogs little time to figure out thanks to the Internet sharing the fact that the hospital Isabelle was born at gave out specific beanies to all newborns, meaning the baby with that hat in the photo belonged to Ashton and Mila.

Another Divorce for the Kardashian Clan

Here you have it folks, yet another divorce for the Kardashian clan. Kris Jenner announced that she was filing for divorce from husband for 22 years, former Olympian Bruce Jenner. The couple had separated 11 months earlier, but it wasn’t until now that they actually filed. 

A source close to the family reveals that it was a drama free ordeal in the family as it was something that both Kris and Bruce did together. The court documents state that Kris requested joint physical and legal custody of Kylie Jenner, their youngest daughter and the only minor. She also requested that she got to keep all her jewelry and assets assembled since their separation last October. The couple had no prenup made when they wed, but they have agreed to split all property evenly.

Sources say that the couple started heading for splitsville when Kris took on the role of momager to her three oldest daughters from her first marriage, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe. She began to focus a lot of her time on their careers and it began to take a toll on her relationship with Bruce. When the couple announced their split in October of 2013, they profusely stated that divorce was not in the future. Looks like that wasn’t the case. 

The couple claim that they will always be the best of friends because that’s how their relationship was and that they still get along great, they just weren’t meant to be together forever. Shortly after they announced their split, they aired it on their hit television show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, a show that has been the publics way to watch the many breakups the Kardashians went through, including Kim Kardashian’s short marriage to NBA allstar Kris Humphries, a marriage that lasted simply 76 days and the marriage struggles of Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom. There is no doubt that the show will fully cover the divorce of Kris and Bruce. 

Claims are being made that the divorce was put in place for the show in order to “shake things up a bit” because the show’s ratings were at an all time low. According to some viewers, there just wasn’t enough new drama since the wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Apparently, things will be shaken up quite a bit on the show or the spin off show of Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons, because in the show preview, Kris is shown in bed with another man. I guess it didn’t take her too long to move on from Bruce!
